We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company's outgoing financial obligations and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Review and verify invoice details, including matching purchase orders and receipts.
Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments.
Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax laws.
Prepare reports related to accounts payable activity as requested.
Support audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Strong data entry and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
